I recently stayed one night at Raise Hotel in Taichung and had a wonderful experience. The location is convenient—close to Yizhong Street and Taichung Park—so exploring sights and food was easy. The room is not large but well equipped, with good A/C, a soft bed and comfortable pillows for a good night's sleep. The private bathroom was very clean, with stable hot water and good pressure. Staff were friendly and helpful; check-in and check-out were quick. There is a cozy shared lounge with free coffee and tea. Yizhong Night Market is a few minutes' walk, yet the area stays quiet without night-market noise. Overall, excellent value—especially for short stays or budget travelers. If you're visiting Taichung, this is a solid choice.
